So sweet! When we went to drink the Mexican-style hot chocolate from Biao Sugar, I was returned to the rectangle-shaped glass table of my home. I think it helps that I'm Mexican because when tasting the chocolate drink, I tasted the richness of the chocolate and the sweetness of home. The boba is an innovative twist to the classic drink, and it makes the chocolate so much fun to enjoy.

RIP to the LIC location that I used to frequent, but I can still get my ube pudding / brown sugar boba fix here.

Taro boba - they ran out of pudding so I asked for coconut jelly, which I think made the drink taste better. The boba was sweet and chewy. Drink was watered down and could use more taro. Props to the staff, the drink was ready before I could put my card away!

(Overall: B) - Biao Sugar is a hole in the wall in the middle of Koreatown that was actually quite difficult to find. I did see some strawberry drink that I wanted to try from a reel, but was unable to find it on the menu until I was leaving. Nevertheless, they have some interesting options that are worth a visit. You can grab a drink out of the tiger's mouth which is a perculiar concept, but I suppose this looks better when someone else films than in reality. (Grapefruit Tea: B): The grapefruit green tea was pleasantly not too sweet and quite reasonably priced at only $6, given the inflation of boba prices recently. It is a simple drink, but it is not disappointing. -- Food: +1 Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: E Service: E Menu: +1 Overall: +2 B Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

I walk by this boba bar often. My friend suggested this place because of their limited summer special. I should've visited this place sooner! Small, no seating, dingy boba bar that has an aesthetic and tasty drinks. I understand the hype. I ordered the strawberry sunrise (limited summer item). After waiting under 3 minutes, the courteous barista stuck her hand with my order out of the lions mouth. I was surprised from this presentation. Thank you to the barista for letting me take the photo. I wanted to show the experience. The drink was very tasty and comes with a reused strawberry cup for 40% off future purchase if used. If you're in NY for the summer, this will be your boba fix. No restroom but there's public restroom across the street during day and evening. Also outside seating across.

We found a small but cute boba shop while walking around Koreatown. - The Summer Passion -- very refreshing right after a filling dinner! It was fun to pick up your drink from the tiger's mouth! The service was fast and the staff were efficient.
